Lynn had aspired to a singing career from the first time her dad lifted her up to the podium at church to sing “Jesus Loves Me” at the age of four.
In college, she won numerous musical awards including semi-finalist in the Metropolitan Opera auditions in Los Angeles.
She concertized in Israel, Guatemala, Colorado, Philadelphia and many churches, including her own Evangelical Free Church in Fullerton, CA, where she and her family have been members since 1979. In 1985, she worried her aspirations would be sidelined when she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. In spite of her disability, she recorded a Christmas album in 1995 with two other musicians, and in 2003, recorded a second CD of her own under the direction of a talented producer in Escondido, CA.
In 1989, Lynn broadened her horizons by not only singing but composing songs and speaking about living with joy in spite of life’s circumstances. She has spoken on the radio, at women’s conventions, spoken and sung at the Christian Association of Senior Adults in 2004.
She is married to her wonderful husband, Dave, who doubles as an Emergency Room Physician, has two adult children and five (soon seven) beautiful grandchildren.
Besides, speaking and singing, she has led her Bible Study praise team for ten years. You see, Lynn still remembers the time she heard God’s voice say, “In whatever condition you are in, I will use you”. She has truly discovered that “God’s grace is sufficient and His power is perfected in her weakness”, II Corinthians 12: 9.
